WFWP Scotland coffee morning
On Tuesday 27th October, WFWP Scotland/UK restarted the monthly coffee morning after 3 months’ summer break.
We invited Mumtaz Unis, the chair of “i women” and the development officer for Ethnic minorities at RNIB, as a speaker. She gave an informative, beneficial talk using her computer screen.
She started her talk asking women about “Deaf action”. She explained about 4 types of eyesight loss:macular degeneration, cataract, glaucoma and diabetic retinopathy. She prepared

WFWP Scotland/UK participated in this year’s “Love culture, Hate racism” event which was organised by MWAE (Muslim Women’s Association in Edinburgh) on Saturday 24th October 2015 at St. Peter’s hall in Edinburgh/UK from 12-4 pm.
We used 2 tables for origami workshop, cookery books and handmade crafts. There were several tables around the hall; natural handmade soaps, African handmade products, henna painting etc.

WFWP UK/Scotland Origami workshop
WFWP UK/Scotland was asked to do an Origami workshop at Kulture Klub’s launch event. It took place on 14th March 2015 from 2 pm to 6 pm at Strathbrock community centre, Broxburn.
Four of us from WFWP Scotland participated in this. After one year, Citadel youth centre invited WFWP Scotland back for a Sushi making session on Friday 21st November from 2 pm to 4 pm. This time they wanted 10 people to try Sushi rolling and 20 people to taste it.

Feb and March 2014:WFWP Scotland started our monthly Coffee Morning in February. We decided to rent a small room in a Church in central Edinburgh. It is a good location, easy for everyone to reach.
