WFWP Slovakia had this lovely social gathering to learn how to prepare Sushi:
'It was on a very rainy and cold day, that a small group of us met on our last meeting, where Seiko-san was teaching us how to prepare Temari and Temaki sushi. We expected a few more guests to come, but due to the terrible weather not everybody could make it which was a pity, because the meeting was really fun:
Seiko-san prepared all the necessary ingredients, and then we did the sushi by ourselves:
Temari sushi is actually a small ball of rice, with a fish on it, very neat and elegant.
Temaki sushi is rice, omelette, carrots, fish and other ingredients rolled tightly into a cone of sea weed – so the result reminds you of “ice cream” just filled with something healthier
The best in the end – we sat around the table, ate what we prepared and had time for friendly talks. It was a nice event; we learned to prepare healthy food and had a really nice time together. Nice part of it is that we can bring these new meals into our families and then also our kids and husbands can enjoy.
Thanks to everyone!'
