“Honoring Father Moon”An event of FFWPU/UPF/WFWP in Warsaw, Poland

Saturday February 1, 2014As representative of the Warsaw region and the nation of Poland around 70 members of UPF, WFWP and FFWPU came to honor Father Moon around the anniversary of his birth. They wanted to thank him for a long life of dedication to God and to mankind, and for the hope and love he gave to each of them. The program was held in our Peace Embassy in Warsaw which had been festively decorated with colorful Korean lanterns. We were greeted by two very elegant cranes painted on the wall. A high school student read “the Crown of Glory” the poem Father Moon wrote as a teen where he declared that one must love even the ones who betray with no regret. The presidents of UPF and WFWP reminded us of Father Moon’s dream in founding these organizations, and how he worked his whole life to create one family under God. Father Moon is the one who also liberated women. As equals and complements to men he called them to devote themselves to bring a world of love and peace on this planet. The pastor of FFWPU shared about how Father Moon brought a revolution to mankind: The Heavenly Parent of love longs for his lost children and through our life we can comfort Him. We watched Father Moon in tears face to face with the Heavenly Parent that He has loved, comforted and devoted his whole life to. One of his American disciples testified how amazed he was the day that Father Moon told his followers to pray for the children of a famous politician who after spending numerous months acting as a high level enemy to him had lost important elections. A Peace ambassador also came forward to offer words of gratitude to Rev Moon. One important part of our event was the presentation - with Polish translation- of a 30mns video that was shown on Korean television on the occasion of the first anniversary of Father Moon’s passing. We could realize how much he invested in his quest to bring about the unification of his homeland. Throughout the program, very young, young and adult talented musicians and singers offered beautiful expressions of their gratitude which touched everyone’s heart. .We finished our program rejoicing together with Father and Mother Moon as we watched them sing in the presence of hundreds of their followers. Cheers of ‘Ok Mansei” were then shouted up to our Father for the next 10,000 years of his life. And all were invited to fellowship around a delicious lunch prepared by many hands. All participants were very touched and happy to have contributed to this first Warsaw event dedicated to honoring Father Moon.
