Päivi Yoshizumi introduced WFWP activities in Finland during the past 28 years (WFWP was established in Finland in 1994) and talked about our current situation. A point to recognize that even though we are a small organization here in Finland, we are part of a wonderful worldwide women’s organization to advocate women’s role in peace making and world peace.
We discussed how we could continue activities in Finland keeping in mind the WFWP‘s vision and ideals as the common thread.
We watched two videos from WFWPI website.
Also, we had several beautiful posters through which we felt connected to the events taking place in Korea during the same weekend.
In the end we enjoyed coffee and treats in a warm atmosphere.
