WFWP Vienna UN office at "No More Nuclear Weapons" conference

This year the Women’s Federation for World Peace UN participated from 31 July–11 August

in the first session of the Preparatory Committee for the 2026 Review Conference of the

Parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT) at the Vienna

International Centre. It was chaired by Ambassador Jarmo Viinanen from Finland.

The Committee opened with statements of 16 NGOs and NGO networks.

Then statements of Member States or group of states followed.

During lunchtime Side Events and various working groups were offered.
