Women of Faith Meeting 23rd May 2014 in South London: "A small group of women from different faith traditions gathered together to pray and share their experiences. After a welcome and introduction by everyone we continued with guided meditation. Then there were readings about Forgiveness and Compassion, supported by readings of various scriptures like the Bible, Qur’an, Adi Granth, Confucius, Father Moon, etc. and later a few personal experiences were shared. Also prayers were offered for disasters that have happened around the world like the Ferry disaster in South Korea, the Turkey miner disaster, the Afghanistan avalanche disaster, the abduction of Nigerian girls and the struggles in the civil war of the people of Syria, etc. A beautiful Spring Prayer and a poem In my dreams were read that inspired everyone.
