The Women’s Federation for World Peace International (WFWPI) is an NGO working in more than 120 nations, dedicated to empowering women and girls as vital peacebuilders and leaders. Through education, advocacy, partnership, reconciliation, and humanitarian service, we strive to create a more peaceful, just, and equitable world. Our active presence at major United Nations offices underscores our commitment to advancing women’s roles in shaping the future.

 

Since 2001, our WFWP EUME (Europe and Middle East) annual women’s leadership conferences have been held in prominent venues across Europe, providing a vital platform for women leaders and emerging young leaders to share knowledge, tools, and resources, and to foster solidarity and collaboration on global issues.

 

We are pleased to announce that this year, the upcoming conference will take place from October 24-26, 2025, at the Hotel Mak Albania in Tirana. The vibrant capital city of Albania, known for its resilience and warmth, welcomes participants to explore the theme:

 

"Pathways to Peace and Development through Women’s Initiatives"

 

This theme emphasizes the crucial role women play in forging sustainable peace and fostering social development. It encourages us to explore innovative pathways and strategies led by women to address conflict, promote social justice, and accelerate economic growth. Through dialogue, shared experiences, and collaborative action, we aim to inspire transformative changes driven by women’s leadership.

Highlighting women’s roles as innovators and leaders in the digital age, addressing challenges and achievements in tech fields.

 

Session II: 11:15 - 12:45

The Roots of Harmony through Interfaith Dialogue

 

Session III: 17:00 - 18:30

a. Women Supporting Each Other – Inspiring Journeys and Projects   45min

Celebrating women’s successes across various fields and the importance of support networks.

 

b. Bridge of Peace Ceremony.   45min

Participate in the signature WFWP initiative promoting reconciliation and healing through trust and understanding.

 

Sunday, October 26th

Session IV: 09:00 - 10:30

a. Climate Action and Environmental Sustainability

Promoting grassroots initiatives for sustainable living and environmental resilience.

 

b. Health and Well-being

Practical insights into holistic self-care for physical, mental, and emotional health.

Conference Fee
Double room:
  • Discount price: 310€/person for Early Bird registration - until the 15th of August
  • Regular price: 330€ for those who register after the 15th of August.
Single room:
  • Discount price: 370€/per person for Early Bird registration - until the 15th of August.
  • Regular price: 390€ for those who register after the 15th of August.

  • Full access to the conference program

  • 2 nights’ accommodation (October 24–26) in a double or single room with breakfast

  • Meals from dinner on Friday (Oct 24) to lunch on Sunday (Oct 26)

  • 2 coffee breaks during the conference
