GLOBAL VIRTUAL INTERNSHIPS

Women’s Federation for World Peace, International(WFWPI) is providing a framework for assigning eligible students from diverse academic backgrounds to WFWPI internship programs. Students' educational experience can be enhanced through capacity-building opportunities.

You’ll gain first-hand experience of what a career at WFWPI looks like while also taking part in a variety of real business projects, professional skills workshops, and networking events. 

The Non-Profit Intern will work closely with our staff across the departments to assist with administrative support, program development, and public relations. Specific tasks are flexible depending on the intern’s area of interest and the organization’s current needs. For those studying NGO management, international relationship, and marketing this is a great option to gain exposure and experience in various aspects of nonprofits operation.

WFWP International offers internships programs are as follows;

Administration: assist in event planning and coordination programs such as communication, external relations, or editorial engagement of our promotional material.

Program Development: assist with creating event flyers and flyer templates; contribute to the design, implementation, and promotion of national events such as national conferences or leadership training retreats (depending on current schedule).

Public Relations and Editorial:  assist in developing and improving WFWP’s public image through writing and/or designing promotional materials for the WFWP International website, newsletter, and other promotional items. External relations or editorial write engaging of our internal process manual and communication material.

Working Location: WFWPI has 114 chapters worldwide. The intern will work virtually and WFWP International will assign an intern to the WFWP National chapter where the intern will work under the assigned chapter.

Working hours: 8- 15 hours per week, flexible for 1 to 3 months.

Compensation: Unpaid

Women’s Federation for World Peace, International is a non-governmental organization in general consultative status with the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations and in association with the UN Department of Public Information. As an organization of women, we adhere to the principle that by working together, taking initiative, and empowering one another across traditional lines of race, culture, and religion we can create healthy families and resolve the complex problems of our societies and world.

PRACTICUM INTERNSHIP WITH THE UNIVERSITY:

WFWP International offers a short-term practicum internship with your university.

We are happy to accommodate interns according to your university practicum schedules. We require interns to be reliable and consistent in their commitment. We will work with you to facilitate receiving academic credit for your internship.
