The Potluck Lunch organised by the Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Ireland was a
successful community-building event aimed at fostering connections among women and promoting
collaboration in addressing social challenges in Ireland. Held on Friday, 5th September 2025, at Unity
House in Dublin, the gathering welcomed women to share not only a meal but also ideas and
experiences.
The primary objective of the event was to create a welcoming space for women to get to know one
another better and brainstorm ways to promote peace and well-being both locally and globally.
Participants brought dishes that represented their cultures or personal preferences, adding a unique
flavour to the gathering and celebrating diversity.
As new women expressed interest in partnering with WFWP Ireland, the potluck served as an
opportunity to strengthen relationships and inspire collective action. Recognising the pressing
challenges faced in Ireland, attendees collaborated towards meaningful initiatives that could affect
positive change in their communities. Overall, this gathering highlighted the importance of
collaboration and shared purpose among women dedicated to promoting peace and social
responsibility.
