WFWP Italy - THE DOVE FOR PEACE

Elisabetta Nistri president of WFWP Italy received the price COLOMBA DELLA PACE "DOVE

OF PEACE" in Memory of Pope Francis, for the work that WFWP Italy is doing for women and for

peace. The event was celebrated at the Museum of Assisi, in the presence of numerous dignitaries:

Father Gianmaria Polidoro, Franciscan friar, founder of Assisi Pax; Dr. Massimo Maria Civale,

president of the Catholic Association of Poor Knights of Christ of St. Bernard and promoter of the

event; Don Carmine Vitolo; and many other distinguished personalities. Pope Francis' Dove of

Peace Award aims to celebrate and recognize those who, through their work, stand out in promoting

these same ideals. It will be a tribute to individuals and organizations that, with dedication and

courage, contribute to building a more just, more humane, and more fraternal world, in line with the

message and example of Pope Francis.

During the event, Dr. Massimo Civale presented a petition to be delivered to the embassies of Russia,

America, and Ukraine calling for peace and also appealing to the President of South Korea to request

the release of Dr. Moon from detention. He also invited Elisabetta Nistri to share few words about the

situation of Mother of Peace Dr. Moon
