On Sunday, 22 March 2026, Women’s Federation for World Peace Malta hosted a guest speaker, Rev. Fr. Fidelis Sopuru, at its Unification Centre in Valletta.

During his address, the young Nigerian priest reflected on his spiritual journey from childhood to the present day. He offered insights into his pastoral work among the poor and the sick, particularly in rural communities, where he finds deep fulfilment and joy in service.

Fr. Fidelis also spoke about the monthly gatherings he organises for women from surrounding parishes. Despite travelling long distances, these women attend faithfully and contribute generously—often from very modest means—to support their wider community.

The event concluded with a question-and-answer session, after which Fr. Fidelis was presented with the memoirs of the WFWP Founder, Mother of Peace. The afternoon ended with an informal social gathering in the coffee room, where participants enjoyed light refreshments and finger food together.
