WFWP Portugal - CREATING A CULTURE OF PEACE THROUGH THE PINK OCTOBER

The Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) Portugal organized a special event on October

10, 2025, at the National Headquarters of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in

Lisbon.

The meeting focused on promoting Pink October, the international campaign for early breast cancer

prevention, while honouring Dr. Hak Ja Han Moon, Co-Founder of WFWP and a global advocate

for peace and women’s leadership.

The program, which gathered over 45 participants, included cultural, musical, and artistic

presentations and featured national and international guests from Bangladesh, Ireland, Brazil, and the

United Kingdom.

The event also strengthened partnerships among peace ambassador´s organizations and concluded

with a series of follow-up activities that extended through October 10, marking three days of unity,

solidarity, and inspiration for WFWP Portugal.
