WFWP Portugal - "INVITATION ATTENDENCE EVENT, FROM “CIPL & CPLP” to the Farewell Ceremonyof the Executive Secretary of CPLP, Dr. Zacarias.

Due to the good relationships WFWP Portugal President has cultivated with the Ambassadors for

Peace appointed by the Organization as well as also with Associations and Institutions, and as a

way to enhance networking, Dr. Marta de Carvalho has been invited to many events, some of

which she has attended.

Considering to her schedule, she cannot attend all of them.

So, in this context, on July 3rd, 2025, she was invited by the International Association of the

Portuguese Language in partnership with the CPLP - Community of Portuguese Language

Countries, to attend the farewell ceremony of the Executive Secretary of CPLP, Dr. Zacarias,

which she did.

The ceremony was held at CPLP head quarter, located on Rua de São Mamede 21, 1100-401 in

Lisbon, brought together various political and cultural entities that expressed their appreciation,

esteem, and gratitude for the good work done by the Executive Secretary during his 4-year term

at the institution in the name and goo of all 9 Speaking Portuguese Countries specially, the unity

among those nations.

Following the various speeches there was music and poetry, followed to spice up the event,

which deeply moved him.

The initiative was led by Peace Ambassadors Dr. Isabel Leitao and Dr. Raquel Flores.

The event was attended by around 120 people, mostly VIPs.

WFWP Portugal would also like to thank to CIPL&CPLP, as well as the organizers (Dr. Isabel Leitão

and Dr. Raquel Flores), and dedicate all those moments to our beloved founders, who have done so

much and have taught us so well on serving humanity with patience, dedication, selflessness, and true

love. We have hope and will keep going patiently.
