Programme Highlights

A retrospective of Women’s Federation for World Peace Romania’s 2025 activities was presented, highlighting several key areas:

  • The vital role of women within the family, and the importance of creating harmony in family life. It was especially encouraging to see men actively participating in the celebration of International Women’s Day, with six men and three boys in attendance.

  • The Bridge of Peace initiative, carried out in collaboration with Hungarian counterparts, promoting reconciliation and mutual understanding.

  • Key insights and takeaways from international engagement, including participation in meetings in South Korea, Tirana, and Madrid.

  • Future plans for monthly meetings via Zoom, with a focus on strengthening community building and encouraging active participation.

Catering & Fellowship

As the event took place during the Orthodox Lenten fast, thoughtful consideration was given to ensure all guests felt included:

  • Vegan options: Homemade falafel, tabbouleh, hummus, and a specially prepared vegan dark chocolate cake (made without eggs, milk, or butter).

  • International selection: bulgogi (beef), rice, and kimchi were available for those not observing the fast.

  • Community spirit: In a generous and spontaneous gesture, two new guests contributed additional snacks, fruits, and soft drinks.

Conclusion

The atmosphere was warm, inclusive, and joyful. The combination of sharing international work and fostering a family-friendly environment—especially with children dancing—created a vibrant and memorable experience.

Overall, the event was a great success, leaving members and guests feeling inspired, connected, and motivated to continue building a strong and supportive community
