On September 26, 2026, we held the 7th edition of its Public Speaking Competition, “The Heart of a Woman – The Voice of Peace,” in the conference hall of the Peace Embassy in Tirana. The final event, moderated by Majlinda Ziko and Eranda Haziraj (WFWP Albania Secretary General) brought together 12 young women who had reached the final stage of the competition and presented their speeches before an audience, sharing personal stories, experiences, reflections, and messages inspired by the theme of women and peace.

The main purpose of the competition was to encourage young women to develop their public speaking and communication skills, strengthen their confidence, and create a supportive space where their voices and ideas could be heard. The event also encouraged participants to reflect on the role of women in promoting peace, understanding, and positive change in their communities.

The presentations were evaluated by a five-member jury composed of Klajda Gjosha, former Member of Parliament, Saemira Pino, former Deputy Minister of Education, Dorina Prethi, a lawyer, and political activist, Mimoza Kurti, a retired English teacher and AfP and Katerina Minolari, WFWP Albania President. Manjola Bani, a chemistry teacher who compared confidence and perseverance to a catalyst in a chemical reaction, received the first place, followed by Kamila Seidolli, a lawyer who shared about her work supporting women victims of violence in second place and Eni Islami, who spoke passionately about the need for women to support each other, in the third place. Approximately 60 audience members also participated by voting live for the Audience Award.

The program included musical performances by a well-known singer Valbona Halili, opera choir member Sofia Kola and a teenage talent Amadea Vasmatics. The event also highlighted WFWP Albania ongoing collaboration with AKPA Vocational Training Center No. 4, whose representative shared about professional course opportunities and business grants offered by the center.
