On May 5, WFWP Italy hosted an online conference entitled Educating for Peace in the Family, featuring Dr. Klarida Rrapaj as the keynote speaker. Approximately twenty participants attended the event, including friends, longtime supporters, and several new guests from different regions of Italy.

Dr. Rrapaj focused on the themes of emotions and communication, highlighting the family as the primary environment for cultivating peace through healthy and meaningful relationships. She explained that effective communication is built on attentive listening, which creates an atmosphere of respect, trust, and understanding—the essential foundations of secure and harmonious relationships.

Another key aspect of her presentation was emotional education. Dr. Rrapaj emphasized that learning to recognize, name, and manage our emotions enables us to choose words that build relationships rather than damage them. She encouraged parents and grandparents to develop emotional awareness as a way of fostering positive family interactions.

The conference concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, during which participants raised practical concerns about understanding the behavior of children and grandchildren. Dr. Rrapaj responded with concrete examples and helpful guidance drawn from her professional experience.

The participants expressed great interest in the topic and enthusiasm for future conferences addressing similarly relevant issues related to family relationships, communication, and emotional well-being.
