The A4 Creative and Cultural Space, held its second gathering, bringing together 15 women for an afternoon workshop of reflection, inspiration, and personal development under the theme "My Inner Architecture."
The symposium on Mozambique’s social, cultural, interreligious, and political realities was held on July 7, 2026, at the Lisbon Geographic Society, organized by the International Academy of the Portuguese Language in collaboration with CEMD.
Mozambican diaspora intellectuals addressed themes including interreligious dialogue, peacebuilding, art and culture, sovereignty, associativism, and education. Dr. Marta de Carvalho, President of FMPM Portugal, spoke on interreligiosity and ecumenism, highlighting religious diversity, family values, dialogue, and cooperation as foundations for peace.
The event encouraged meaningful dialogue on Mozambique’s future and the contribution of diaspora communities. Despite being held during working hours, 22 participants attended. Speakers were invited to submit their presentations for publication in the International Academy of the Portuguese Language’s journal.
