WFWP Portugal held an event in partnership with the ‘Alimentary Alchemy’, as a way to introduce universal values.
The event took place on 1 May 2014 in the Peace Embassy in Lisbon on the theme “Alimentation and Peace” The Program consisted of an Opening Session by the President of WFWP Portugal, Dr. Marta de Carvalho, who after a brief introduction of WFWP and its Founders introduced the theme and explained how serious the Founders were about the importance of universal values as the way to achieve peace. Afterwards, Dr. Isabel Costa - President of “Alimentary Alchemy”, spoke on the theme: "Peace on Your Plate”. In her speech she gave important advice about healthy food and then gave a practical demonstration on preparing healthy food and drinks, and later we got chance to taste it. We also had exercise, prayer and a meditation before a musical presentation with Tibetan’s Bowls by Dr. Isabel Costa. It was a wonderful and enriching fellowship!’ Report by Marta de Carvalho
