WFWP UK - A Celebration of Service, Peace and Community Spirit
On Sunday, 25 October, WFWP and UPF representatives David and his wife were honoured to receive a Thanksgiving Community Service Award in recognition of their longstanding commitment to peace and community service.
The award was recommended by Dhiren Katwa, a renowned journalist and founder of Karma PR, who has followed and reported on their peace activities for 30 years. The awards ceremony celebrated individuals whose dedication, honesty, and integrity make a meaningful difference in their communities.
The awards were presented by Sir Andy Street CBE, former Mayor of the West Midlands.
The memorable evening brought together many inspiring people committed to serving others. Messages of goodwill were also received from prominent political and community leaders across the UK.
Receiving this recognition was particularly meaningful, as it also honoured the many kind-hearted people who have worked alongside them over the years, inspired by the vision and values of WFWP and UPF.
The occasion served as a renewed encouragement to continue working for peace, strengthening communities, and making a positive difference in the lives of others.
