WFWP Malta - Participates in Interfaith Conference on Peace and Sustainability

On Saturday, 19 September 2026, WFWP Malta Chairperson Myrabelle Corlett attended a conference entitled “Community, Faith, Peace & Care for the Planet: Shared Values, Shared Responsibility, Shared Future,” organised by Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat Malta.

Held at the Gżira Local Council Hall, the conference explored the role of faith and shared values in promoting peace, caring for the environment, and achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The panel brought together six representatives from diverse fields, including a Franciscan monk, the Mayor of Gżira, an environmentalist from Ghana, Bryan Corlett from UPF, and Imam Laiq Atif of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Jamaat.

The gathering provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives and highlight the importance of interfaith dialogue, shared responsibility, and cooperation in building a more peaceful and sustainable future.

WFWP Malta’s participation reflects its ongoing commitment to fostering understanding, strengthening communities, and promoting peace across faiths and cultures.
