On August 18th we gathered at the Slaterfield Community Centre in Bolton to give a presentation about the Women’s Federation for World Peace.There were about 15 participants including our special guests:Caroline Tosal, Bolton at HomeGulnaz Brennan, Women in NeighbourhoodAmal Elsheikh, EASE GroupHafsa Petel, Harmonious TruthMaria Oprea, The Smile of Hope.In the presentation I spoke about the origin of the Women’s Fed, our aims and objectives, the membership scheme and our future plans in Bolton. We then had the opportunity to hear from each of our special guests of the work they do in Bolton and how we can work with them.After the talk, we had some delicious food and ended the evening with a disco.Christelle K.
