WFWP Albania - Youth Academy for Peace Expands to Laç

On 27 June 2026, the Albanian Federation of Women for World Peace organized the Youth Academy for Peace in Laç, in partnership with the Sebastia Center. The event brought together young women and men from the local community to explore peace education, leadership, active citizenship, and community engagement.

The program featured presentations on personal leadership, relationships in family and society, and project design, delivered by Academy alumni and experienced educators. Participants then worked in groups to develop project ideas addressing local community needs.

A highlight of the event was the contribution of Mr. Pashk Kaçi, President of the Kurbin Peace Council, who inspired participants through his personal and professional experiences. The Academy provided a valuable platform for learning, dialogue, and collaboration, while strengthening local partnerships and encouraging young people to become active agents of peace and positive social change.
