WFWP Portugal - Homage of the Women on the occasion of International Women's Day Celebration at the Certificatesgiving Ceremony on the 3rd Edition of Teachers for Peace Course

On March 31st, 2025, WFWP Portugal held the International Women's Day celebration to the

Lusophone Countries via online by giving WFWP Certificates to those who participated at the 3rd

Edition of Teachers for Peace Course and defended a theme.

The event joint more than 80 participants, and was to homage the Women, taking as topic: "Homage

of the Women on the occasion of International Women's Day Celebration at the Certificates

giving Ceremony on the 3rd Edition of Teachers for Peace Course"

The young MC Cintia Agostinho Có, opened the event by welcoming the participants and inviting the

coordinator of the Mozambican group, the main one, Rev. Paluku Mulekya, with the opening words

of great wisdom, followed by the trainer, Dr. Isabel Costa, who Congratulated the trainees and show

her great appreciation to their successful accomplishment.

Mailin Christianes Ferreira a young Brazilian Jurist, Psychology Student and Volunteer at the WFWP

UN Viena by WFWP EU&ME Young Profissional Committee, spoke on the topic: "Life is Beutiful",

and was very welcomed by the participants.

Dr. Marta de Carvalho, President of WFWP Portugal and Coordinator of the Teachers for Peace

Course gave her remark words of closing, welcoming all participants and Congratulating all trainees

by giving words of appreciation to the trainees' effort, and applying them to practice the teachings

they have learned at the course, to become the practice teachers for peace on their families, neighbors

and Communities.

She also spoke on the founders’ efforts on seeing that values to be spread among all humankind, and

ending with a message to the profound meaning of the International Women's Day, emphasizing that

for the WFWP Founders as well as to the Organization, they promote the Principle of

Complementarity, where women and men have to respect and support each other in every fields of

life.

Then the event ended by calling each trainee to receive the Certificate as the way of motivation, and

all the participants at the event could hear amazing testimonies and words of appreciation from the

trainees, it was really an impactful and amazing event, which was closed with a video music song.

The event joint more than 80 participants from (Europe/Portugal, Norway, Hungary and Spain; South

America/Brazil; Africa/Angola, Guinea Bissau, Cape Verde and Mozambique). São Tome and Principe was

ready to participate, but just half an hour before they had luck of electricity because of the heavy rain, which did

not allow them to participte, but the group Coordinator (Rev. Taty), send a msg explaining and regretting for

what happened.

The speakers and trainees invited their friends and relatives to participate in the event, which brought

greater impact and excitement

We could get amazing feedback, which can be seen at the face of the participants in the photos.

The trainees loved the experience and asked to get another opportunity to learn more, saying that it

helped them even to understand themselves and get better relationships with others and special in

their families.
