WFWP Russia - A joint Kenya -Russia WFWP Angels of peace cultural Bridge of peace and charity program

This trip to Kenya was possible on the foundation of 15 year long cooperation and friendship between WFWP of Kenya and Russia.

On February 13 and 17 WFWP of Kenya and Russia held charity programs at 3 Nairobi schools and could hold a program for more tham 1000 children all together. 3 Moscow schools and 4 Moscow partner organizations could collect 100 kg of school supplies, games and toys. All of those presents were safely delivered by the Angels of peace ensemble and passed to the Nairobi schools. The directors and schoolchildren were so happy to receive such wonderful presents.

All classes of Kenya schools prepared very beautiful performances and Angels of peace of Russia also showed their songs and dances. It was a really joyful and meaningful cultural exchange bringing the hearts of two nations together.

On February 14 we held a big Intercultural program in which Angels of peace could show their whole concert. Many different wonderful African performing groups could perform together with Angels of peace.

On February 16 Angels of peace together with WFWP presidents of Kenya and Russia could have a very warm welcome at the Embassy of Russia and then by the former First lady and current Ambassador of Malawi.

It was also very moving that the representatives of the Russian Embassy came to the Angels of peace concert on February 19. Besides on February 19 Angels of peace and presidents of WFWP of Kenya and Russia were invited to one of the main TV channels. There were 35 minutes of live broadcast with an interview and Angels of peace performance.
