WFWP Russia - New year concert for Elderly people

WFWP of Russia organized a New Year concert of the children’s dancing and singing ensemble

“Angels of peace” at Elderly people’s House “Opeka”. The children age 4-12 gave a 1 hour concert

with many different costumes. Elderly people were moved to tears and asked the children to come to

them more often. After the concert they children were tired but when the administration of the House

asked whether they want to visit and to sing a song for those Elderly men and women who can only

stay in bed all the children willingly expressed their desire to go. Elementary School children of one

public school made very beautiful New Year congratulatory cards. Elderly people were so moved and

grateful. For some of them it was even difficult to believe that such a beautiful card can be given to

them. Those elderly people who could listen to the songs while staying in bed were so happy.
