On 1 and 3 October 2026, Women’s Federation for World Peace (WFWP) members in Russia organised two heartwarming activities for elderly residents, bringing generations together through creativity, kindness, and music.

On 1 October, WFWP members held an autumn-themed arts and crafts workshop, helping residents create beautiful autumn leaves. They also offered haircuts to elderly men and women who needed them. The residents were deeply touched by this thoughtful care and expressed their hope that such programmes would continue, helping them feel healthier, happier, and younger.

On 3 October, the Angels of Peace ensemble performed a special concert for the residents. Students from two Moscow schools prepared beautiful greeting cards, colourful banners, cookies, and cakes, bringing extra warmth to the celebration.

The elderly residents were delighted by the performances, singing along enthusiastically and encouraging the children to continue. Some even arrived an hour early to watch the rehearsal!

These activities reflect a beautiful, long-standing cooperation between WFWP, schools, and the elderly community. Through shared creativity, music, and personal care, the programme strengthens intergenerational bonds and brings happiness to both young and old.

Together, we create a more caring community where every generation feels valued, connected, and loved.
