WFWP France - the International Day for the Elimination of ViolenceAgainst Women.

The purpose of this event was to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence

Against Women. It was organized by Faiza Chaker, President of AIDES/Afrika.France, in

collaboration with several partner NGOs, including WFWP France.

The program featured four panel discussions, and Brigitte Wada, WFWP president spoke on the

second panel, addressing the theme: “Building inclusive public policies together and achieving

effective gender justice.”

Her main message emphasized that women are essential contributors in every sector of society, but

that their engagement should be guided by a spirit of living for the sake of others—not for personal

privilege or in competition with men.
