WFWP Italy - INTERELIGIOUS MEETING

President Elisabetta Nistri was invited to participate in the interreligious meeting representing WFWP Italy on February 23, 2026 at the headquarters of Scientology.

Representatives of the Anglican Church, Islam, the Sikh religion, the European Anglican Church, Scientology, UPF, and also the councilor of the XIII Municipality of Rome Capital David Sbardella and the former prefect Maria Giovanna Eurato, director of Religious Affairs, were present.

The aim of the meeting was to sign a charter of intent shared by all participants to collaborate together in the construction of a model of coexistence, dialogue and collaboration between women and men, in the pursuit of the common good and global stability.

In her speech, the president drew attention to the serious problems that young people are going through such as: addiction to drugs, alcohol, social media, gratuitous violence, bullying, lack of values.... And he urged the participants to reflect on the contribution that could be made together. The meeting ended with the signing of the charter of intent and with the proposal to hold a next meeting in an institutional venue.
