WFWP Italy - INTERRELIGIOUS MEETING

President Elisabetta Nistri was invited to participate in an interfaith meeting at the Church of

Scientology in preparation for Interfaith Harmony Week.

The meeting was attended by representatives of the Focolare Movement, the Adventist Church, the

European Episcopal Church of Scientology, and UPF.

The event promoted by Scientology was an opportunity to get to know each other and share possible

goals to achieve together. A common desire emerged to address the prevention of youth deviance in a

society in deep confusion and contradiction.

The president spoke, expressing her conviction that mothers play an important role in the education of

their children and presenting the upcoming conference on the 18 th February at the European

Parliament headquarters in Rome, which will discuss the relationship between spirituality and

artificial intelligence in an attempt to understand the influence that the world of the web and AI have

on our lives and, above all, on our consciousness.

The meeting concluded with a proposal to draw up a charter of intent on which to begin working

together and involve other entities. The task of drafting this proposal was entrusted to Giuseppe Calì,

representative of UPF Italy.
