WFWP Portugal - Dinner Gathering in celebration of the festive season (Peacebuilding)

On 28 December 2025, the artist and writer Paula OZ hosted a Solidarity Dinner at Quinta de

Santo António da Barota, Belas/Lisbon, gathering artists, writers, friends, and benefactors to

celebrate unity, culture, and humanitarian values in a Season Celebration.

The event featured Dr. Marta de Carvalho, President of the Women’s Federation for World

Peace (WFWP) Portugal, as guest speaker.

By her consent, the WFWP logo was displayed in Paula OZ’s commemorative magazine,

highlighting the Organization’s presence.

In her address, Dr. Marta de Carvalho introduced WFWP’s mission, founders, and

fundamental values centered on peace, human dignity, and social responsibility. She formally

awarded Paula OZ the Global Peace Ambassador Certificate (GWPA) in recognition of her

integrity, humanistic vision, and consistent and meaningful contributions to the artistic and

literary fields. The distinction had been previously granted in October 2025 during a WFWP

Portugal event that Paula OZ could not attend for health reasons.

Dr. Marta de Carvalho’s earlier participation in Paula OZ’s September 2025 Literary Festival

had revealed Paula’s profound human spirit, prompting her nomination for the Global Women

Peace Ambassador (GWPA) title.

The dinner thus served as a meaningful occasion to present the award, warmly received by

attendees.

The event also led to growing interest in WFWP’s activities, with several participants

expressing willingness to collaborate as future Peace Ambassadors.
